It’s Thursday, extemporaneous speech day! The topic raised in class was “If I were a boy/girl…”. Let me share you my thoughts.

If I were a boy…
I would be everything my ex-boyfriend was not.

I would call my girlfriend everyday, and let her talk as much as she wants to.
I would even attend workshops with her, read the books that she read, and learn all her interests and hobbies so we would never run out of things to talk about.
I would never run out of jokes to share to her.
I would let her share her thoughts and feelings, and will also be as open to her.
I would give her more importance than watching tv, playing computer games, and going out with the guys.I would occasionally send her flowers, and send care packages when I am away.
I would give her shopping money and shop with her even if she will take hours.
I would not let her wait for me for hours.
I would encourage and support her in the things she wants to do.
I would even do her projects and fetch her in school and work almost everyday.
I would clean her room, her car, wash her dishes, and do the laundry for her everyday.
She would never hear me complain.
I would always tell her she’s pretty.
I would always tell her I love her and will hug her everytime I see her.
I would love her family and love her daughter like they’re my own.
And even if I don’t tell her, I’d make sure she’d still feel I love her.

Come to think of it… if I were a boy, I would be just like my boyfriend.
