I will be sharing another game that might be able to help you during your “extra time” in class.
The Categories game was derived from Scattergories. I just simplified the rules to make the game easier to understand and facilitate.
Objective: Quickly fill-out a Categories sheet.
Players: Will be playing in groups.
Steps: The facilitator will choose a letter. It will be the key letter that will be used in this round of play. 3 minutes will be given to fill-out the first column of the category list. Answers must be fit the catergory and must begin with the key letter. After 3 minutes, teams will take turn reading out their answers.
Scoring: A point is counted for every unique.
